Updated 27 September 2026 Product update
- Added: A Right To Work workspace brings checking settings, person status, evidence, outstanding actions, and booking reviews together in the Dashboard for authorised users.
- Added: Separate View RTW Records, Manage RTW Checks, and Manage RTW Settings permissions control access to statuses, evidence, checking actions, provider connections, and booking rules without granting broader profile access.
- Added: Right To Work settings can enable in-person document checks, Home Office share-code checks, and a customer-owned digital checking service independently, record the legal employer, and nominate a contact for reminders and action summaries.
- Added: The Right To Work worklist can search, filter, order, and page current team members and active freelancers by type, clearance, and check progress. Selections persist across pages and searches so up to 50 people can be processed together.
- Added: Authorised staff can send secure individual or bulk links for a person to submit their share code and date of birth. The existing freelancer application can also collect these details when enabled, without treating submission alone as clearance.
- Added: Submitted share-code details can be checked explicitly and the returned report, photograph, identity details, employer, permission dates, conditions, and restrictions reviewed before a clearance decision is recorded.
- Added: Unfinished Right To Work checks can be removed after confirmation without changing an existing clearance or booking approval. Processing checks and checks already used in a decision remain protected.
- Added: In-person document checks can retain supporting evidence, the actual check date and checker, document validity, and a required review checklist. Uploading evidence preserves unfinished review entries in the open person panel.
- Added: Home Office Employer Checking Service notices and reviewed business-to-business arrangements can be recorded with their supporting evidence, dates, company information, and justification rather than being inferred from an uploaded document or company registration.
- Added: Right To Work decisions support Cleared, Time-Limited, and Not Cleared outcomes, with follow-up and validity dates, previous decision history, and clear Expired status. Blank validity fields are no longer mistaken for expired dates.
- Added: Event Planner can classify the Right To Work location of an event as UK, Overseas, Mixed, or Needs Review. Existing events require assessment, Mixed events use UK controls, and Overseas events remain outside the UK allocation guard.
- Added: Within Right To Work module, separate team-member and freelancer booking rules can be Off, Warn, or Block All Allocations. Controls cover provisional and confirmed allocations, imports, copied or reactivated shifts, and changes to the person, event, role, date, or time, including the overnight finish.
- Added: Within Right To Work module, An Upcoming Bookings Requiring Attention list identifies assignments in the next 90 days that need a clearance, event-location, restriction, or business-to-business review. Existing bookings are flagged for action rather than removed automatically.
- Added: Right To Work evidence retention can record when employment or engagement ended, retain evidence for the required follow-up period, and place an authorised hold on deletion. Provider responses, documents, submission details, and invitation links are encrypted and isolated by company.
- Fixed: BrightHR abandons a paused absence run if its frozen start date has fallen outside the rolling 90-day window, discards only the unfinished staging work, and starts a fresh scheduled run without altering already imported absences.
- Fixed: BrightHR timed absences use the supplied duration for hourly leave allowances, while day-based allowances use the eligible working date as a whole day and retain explicit first- or second-half indicators. Re-importing after an allowance-unit change updates the existing non-working-day record instead of duplicating it.
- Fixed: Xero exports apply the configured per-diem account code separately from the role's item code, and carry the event tracking category onto per-diem purchase-order lines, preventing those values from being omitted or placed in the wrong field.
- Fixed: Clock Report Excel exports count worked hours as overtime on scheduled weekends or other days with zero expected hours, while preserving the existing tolerance behaviour for ordinary working days, minimum calls, leave, and no-data rows.
- Fixed: Booking confirmation links now validate their person and shift lists before reading or changing bookings. Malformed links stop without database updates, legacy links remain supported, and a requested shift that no longer exists cannot accidentally expand into an all-shifts response.
- Fixed: HireTrack NX venue synchronisation handles UTF-8 markers and recoverable legacy quote escaping, loads large venue lists in 500-record pages, detects repeated or incomplete pages, and refuses to display a partial list when the source data is unreadable.
- Changed: Team Member Ordering excludes people whose employment end date has passed and rejects stale reorder submissions containing them, keeping the ordering list limited to current team members.
- Fixed: Event hover titles preserve the saved capitalization and Unicode punctuation, preventing accented characters or punctuation from corrupting the tooltip response and causing the hover to disappear.
- Fixed: HireHop job-name webhooks safely retain quotes, ampersands, backslashes, accented characters, and encoded text while updating only the intended linked event and preserving account-specific reference rules.
